On one end of the ropes were clothing pins connected to my nose, lips, and chin; the other ends connected to various instructional books for English-as-Second-Language learners. Over the duration of each performance (approximately 40 mins in length), I recited the Canadian Oath of Citizenship in both English & French thirty times.
